It is important that when having symptoms we rule out medical causes first.

The effects of energy can sometimes mimic disease processes and vice versa.

For example, walking into an energy vortex will cause the blood pressure to drop. The ensuing lightheadedness will cause an alteration in consciousness. Alteration in consciousness, or a change in mental status, is one of the first things I look for as an RN in the hospital setting as a warning symptom in patients.

A change in consciousness is not always a good thing. ;>
