Its normal to loose everything, as it says in the book. Moving the
cool chi really needs to emphasise relaxation. I'd been trying to
teach myself this for over three years, until I first went to a
workshop with Mantak Chia (in London). I hadn't really understood
how *relaxed and gentle* one needs to be to feel the cool chi and let
it flow. It really is as if you need to continue to train and relax
enough so you could feel a tiny little gentle breath blowing around
down there.
Preparatory exercises help alot. Best to learn these in a class I
reckon, just cos you get the feel for the exercises better. But good
preparatory exercises include warming up the body and breath,
laughing, and testicle massage.
The impulse that moves the cool chi up is v. gentle I believe. So
soft, gentle and humerous awareness, plus loads of persistance, may
help.
