No, your simple explanation is NOT what he was experiencing. In fact, you're saying to him exactly what "others" said to him in the mental institution. If I wouldn't have experienced the same thing perhaps I wouldn't be replying to your e-mail to him, and it doesn't really matter that you're negating my experience at the same time -- but for heaven's sake! "Experiencing" others' emotions is a documented "gift" of Kundalini awakening. The book by Bonnie Greenwell Ph.D, "Energies of Transformation" discusses the subject. I'm sure many other books address the topic as well. I suppose until you actually experience this phenomenon you will not believe it can happen.
