Never believe that a doctor knows anything for sure, because they don't. I've
had my share of major misdiagnosis and just plain stupid doctors. If you are
not feeling any better, go to a different doctor and get a second opinion and
ask about shingles. They are very painful and take quite a while to clear up,
my stepdad just had them and he was on medication for almost two months. The
antibiotics not working does not prove that it is K causing it, they may have
you on the wrong medication or you could be allergic to the medication. Also
with some medications exposure to sunlight can worsen the condition. I would
also suggest you try taking some Goldenseal and Burdock root capsules, they
both have anti-bacterial and blood purifying properties and you can get them
at any health food store. Honey is also a powerful anti-bacterial agent, try
drinking it in tea or just having some on toast every day.
