Jason , I am by no means an expert on much of anything. But as I
read your post some thoughts came to mind. I do not know if you will
find comfort in them or not,but its worth a shot:). It seems to me in
this post you are crying out an age old question. One that
philosophers for thousands of years have pondered. Are we conscious?
Am I conscious? Is anyone conscious? Here is the horrible answer or
atleast the answers that most philosophers have found. There is no
way to tell. Cosciousness is so abstract and vast that I do not know
if our human minds will ever be able to figure outa way to prove or
disprove consciousness. So, logically speaking there is no way to
prove or disprove it. But, that is where philosophy leaves off and
spirituality takes root. Its a matter of faith. Its a decision, a
choice to believe we are conscious. I used to drive myself crazy
asking the why's of the universe, why am i here? why are people the
way they are? frustration and the edge of madness was all i got. What
i found is that some questions have answers that are just too big for
our humble little brain. The answers are so grand and vast and full
of awe that we in these fleshly bodies perhaps can not handle the
answers. I dont know this is just my truth. In my life i have had
experiences that i guess alot of the population would think me crazy.
And for awhile I too thought I was crazy, so I ignored them. But the
truth is the truth no matter how you cut it. Those thing i experience
exist either here or in some dimension or some parelle possible world
( which is another theory in philosophy). Anyway,hang in there, dont
let the questions drive you over the edge. Pull back and know that
your questions are questions that have haunted man forever, and we
(mankind) have found few answers but many more questions. have faith
jason...life is not always what it seems. These are just my view
points nothing more and nothing less, I know its not everyones truth.
thats what is wonderful about the human condition we are all
different.
