Curious how many of you on here are resistant to taking medicine in the time
of absolute pain? I am this way and have always been like this. I would
rather feel the pain, then to go out on a limb and take medicine for it.
Granted there are some medical situations that you have to pills as your
livelihood depends on it, those that are diabetic, heart problems, etc., but
I am talking pain here, as in the form of a muscle pull or ache in different
areas of the body from over-doing or straining in some situation. Years ago I
fought pain when I had it. I also used to fear pain, but now I try to just
flow with it, embrace it, and decipher what message it is sending me.
Sometimes I feel the basic message of pain is to just slow down in life as
perhaps you are going to fast and to not allow any situation in life to cause
you pain, like stress, worry, etc.

Also, when you all feel pain, since most of you know the feeling of your
energy field, do you often notice that pain feels like something heavy in the
aura field? Sometimes when I do reiki it is like I feel a heaviness literally
lift off of me, thus the pain subsides. It almost feels like pain within
itself is an entity of it's own kind.

I wanted to know also if any of you feel that going through pain, sometimes
clears some karmic situation regarding some area in your life or one that
relates to a past-life.

One other thing, for those that see auras and all, do you see more energy
lights around you when you are in pain? Is this healing energy at work or
guides about us? Or are we just more open than usual to seeing things
psychically during pain? Also, could pain be comparable to it's polarity of
pleasure/bliss so that is why we see more psychically during these times?

Would love to hear comments from others of you about all of this. Thanks for
