Subject: [K-list] Body movements, and Mudras.
From: scaldedhorsepuke
On 2002/07/13 16:19, scaldedhorsepuke posted thus to the K-list: After practicing TM for about four months I started to notice involuntary movements during meditation, and anytime I was still
or resting. These movements got stronger as time time went by. They never really bothered me, but I was somewhat interested
in what was going on. I was told it was nothing more than stress release. Later on I became interested in Da Free John, and the
same kind of movements started to take place. Occasionally I would have vocalizations that just seemed to come out of me
without any thought process on my part. Involuntary speach. Jiberish. Talking in tongues of a sort. There was also hand positions
that I guess could be called Mudras. The whole process never felt bad, but it did make me consider just what the hell is going on
here. Now I feel it was some kind of kundalini experience. Even to this day, when I'm under stress I will start to have movements
while resting. I have not been involved with a spiritual practice for many years now, and I wonder just how long this will go on.
Like I said before, this does not bother me, but it does interest me. I would welcome any feedback on this subject.
Thanks
Tom
