I like run on's...
a story.... let us go do something....just for discussion.... let us go
to the local mall...
we are walking along, and see someone sitting all alone....and you
think-they need someone to talk to. now, make a choice... do you go talk to
them? or not?
what are the results of that simple choice?
ok, lets say you do...and as of that talk, they yell at you for bothering
them...and now, after they leave the mall, they go home mad and yell at the
spouse...
and now the spouse is mad, because they got yelled at for no reason, and
they ignore everyone the rest of the day/evening, refusing to answer any
questions, and so forth, thereby making their CHILD also mad/wondering what
they did wrong...
OR, they enjoyed the conversation... and went home to their empty house,
feeling better about everything, or they are happy and their spouse notices
it, and then they are happy with the rest of the family... and so on...
OR, you dont go talk to them, instead deciding they are not important, or
you dont have time....or pick any other reason... and since nobody talked
to them, they then go home to their empty house-depressed at the world...
or depressed and take it out on the spouse and family....beating the
spouse-'just because'''....
you get the idea....
everything involves a choice, and EVERYTHING creates ripples in this big
game called life...
Are you 'supposed to be a prophet'?
three is only one that can answer that.... you....
You mentioned the calling.... you also mentioned well thought out, all
possibilities being considered....
your call.... and if you make it---- then, see if you are happy...
and if you dont---- will you feel better about yourself for trying?
Personally, being a 'large' teacher is to me no fun... you have no time, no
privacy... no vacations, no 'time with family'....but, others in the past
have done it....
your call.
or, they listen, and enjoy the conversation with you
