Yes I had a similar experience as yours and I also live in Ottawa (Vanier)..neighbours?..I woke up one morning and my body was shaking like a leaf, but it didn't last too long maybe 10 or 15 seconds this all happened back in 1996 in Gatineau and the mild burning of the body has not stopped since then, however I found that while I also do Kundalini Yoga, 2 yrs now, I found that conscious deep breathing seems to help a lot.. sending energy.. Yes I can do that too, I have tried many different technics and they ALL have the same effect.. I also went to the Hospital, 3 months and was diagnosed as being a Schizophrenia, they also had me on olanzapine and a few other drugs, I don't take any medications as we speak.. I had problems with mt sleep a couple of weeks ago, so my Dr. put me on Seroquel, I take a 50mg before bedtime and it does help me sleep better.. do you feel tickling in your hands?. my hands and my lower body feels like it's a current of electricity, 24/24 but with my deep breathing it is easy to tolerate..I am also a energy healer, since 1996, I have done many, many treatments, with many stories.. I also at times feel like I have a mission to accomplish. I dont' have a clue what it could be, but to come back to your burning, I have found that Conscious Deep Breathing helps a lot, it will come naturally after you practice daily..breath, breath, breath... Welcome to the K-List, you WILL find a lot of help here, a real nice bunch of people, they have helped me tremendously..

[K-list] Felt like 4000 watts of electricity! Dear friends,
I'm new to the group and just found out about Kundalini a few days ago.
I had a profound spiritual experience on January 12th of this year. I had
been doing a fast for about 4 days and was involved in a massive email
campaign, emailing hundreds of international journalists and politicians,
trying to bring justice in the Middle-East. For about a week, I was
operating in an altered state of mind. My eyes were large and looked
similar to those of Barbara Marciniak, author of Bringers of the Dawn.
Incredible synchronicities occurred during the week of Jan.12th to 20th. I
felt guided and some events made me think that I was connected to a
collective sub-conscious, where I could send energy and the energy of the
masses would increase as a result.
On January 19th, I woke up at 3am shaking and vibrating like I was being
irradiated. It felt like 4000 watts of electricity was going through my
body, like energy was being drained out of my lower spine. This was totally
frightening since I thought there were entities trying to even force me into
their dimension. I had no idea what was happening to me. It lasted about
15 minutes. When it was over, I felt totally exausted with pain in my lower
back. The next day, when I ate food, it felt like the energy of the food
was coming out of the left and right side of my head, instead of staying in
my body. No matter how much I ate, it felt like my body was not getting the
energy. It freaked me out so I decided to check myself into the hospital.
Once there, they gave me an anti-psychotic called olanzapine. It did help
and within a few days, the energy of my body started to feel more contained
instead of feeling like it was escaping my body like I had an energetic
leak. They kept me in the psychiatric ward for 3 weeks but the doctors had
no idea what I had. I told them about my spiritual experiences but of
course all they could say "are you taking your medication now?".
Two months ago, I stopped taking the anti-psychotic drugs and my spiritual
feeling came back. I have felt the most amazing feeling of love, right
after a friend gave me a Reiki session, invoking the Violet Flame. I felt
my heart Shakra open up in a way that I never felt in my entire life! I
have a strong spiritual connection with my friend Lindsay and her and I had
had an out-of-body experience together back in 1996. A few days after she
gave me Reiki, I started feeling burning feelings in my body and my mind was
all over the place. I decided to get another Reiki session done, this time
by an energy healer who is also an etheric surgeon. I felt great right
after! At work, people were commenting that I was beginning to look like a
Saint! My skin was glowing and my eyes were super shinny! I felt this
undescribable feeling of energy like I was connected to a divine source, to
spirit or the higher self... call it what you want, the experience is what
counts and that was amazing! Then the burning feelings in my body came back
and became intolerable. I decided to go back on the medication (that was 1
1/2 months ago). The burning feelings went away hours after I took the
first pill. I have just recently went off the drug again, this was 2 days
ago, after I found out about Kundalini. I was told by my energy healer taht
I had had a spontaneous Kundalini awakening and a spiritual emergency back
in January. I did read up on it and found this website and group.
I'm hoping the burning feelings in my body won't come back up. I am feeling
extremely sensitive and spiritual right now. When I look into people's
eyes, something happens and they tell me they feel an incredible energy
entering them! I feel it too! I have a feeling that I'm on this planet
for a reason; to do something that will increase spirituality. I've always
felt like I wanted to make a difference but after this experience, the
feeling extremely strong. I do Yoga once a week and meditate daily. I'm
wondering if any of you have had experiences similar to mine and how you
have dealt with it. I would appreciate your feedback. And if there's
anyone who lives anywhere near Ottawa, Canada, I would love to meet with
someone who can relate to the experience.
