Yes, Carol. I wonder, though? What is the reason underlying the mass appeal
of these books? What are we women (and some men, I guess?) working out with
them? Are they projections of what we for some reason need our relationships
with men to really be? Do we relate to and _become_ the men, too, when we
read these stories? I think maybe so. And if so, why?
