Hello! This is such a large discussion among many Reiki practicioners today as far as the symbols go. I am a big believer in using them I have tried with and w/out I dont notice a difference as much in the first two levels but the third level Dai-Ku-Myo is very powerful in my opinion I can feel the vibrating energy as I draw them all into the air and the power is definately strenghthened for me. I always use my symbols no matter what I am doing I believe that they are charged with energy and meaning . I know there are many people who use intention only and I think that is wonderful if it is right for them I most definately dont have the answers as far as what is right and not. There are so many types of Reiki energy systems and they all contribute there own different symbols but in my opinion these are all based on the same energy just different aspects. I think that much like anything else in this world it is all in the preference there is no wrong way becuase the spirit does it all for you, we are just channels. Kundalini and Reiki I also think work very well together I recieved Reiki after awakening and it really helped ease the discomfort emotionally and physically. It cleansed my my pathways very well. I still have alot left to cleanse but I am moving along a bit quicker for sure. Reiki is a beutiful thing I would recommend to anyone.

Hi all,
I was wondering about reiki attunements. They speak about energy from the
crown, through the heart and out the palms... I was curious how this energy
relates to that involved in Kundalini rising. When I think about the energy
from below mixing from the energy of above I wonder if reiki helps direct
one of those two energies for healing purposes. Like pranic healing.

The thing that confuses me is the use of symbols so adamantly in reiki.

I think I can recall postings on the list regarding the benifits of their
attunements. If anyone could elaborate on their experiences I'd appreciate
it.
