Hi Grant,

As I understand it, Reiki opens the sushuma in the spine. It happens in
stages, 1st 2nd and 3rd attunements. I have not had the third attunement
yet. Also, I learned to run the Reiki energy without using the symbols. The
symbols just seem like a "mental placebo" now. I feel the energy running
just fine without them.
