That was a pretty magical conversation you two just had. :^)

I would like to add that, besides some really FINE works or art and
architecture, mainstream religion provides one BIG service to mankind. The
beautiful art and majestic cathedrals serve as a reminder to the masses that
there IS a spiritual path to be walked although few of the keepers of these
great treasures can guide you any further than the first few tottering steps
along that path. Then you're on your own. I don't know how many seekers
come from that springboard, but it did have some influence on me at times.
It is only one starting place though.
