I am glad that what once was crisis, pain, chaos, and confusion for me now is
helpful and empowering to others. Several have wrote to me off list with
encouraging words after my posts yesterday. Thank you all. I regret not
participating in the discussions group sooner. I have been shifting gears
from one phase of my growth to the next level in my walk. This has led to my
turning inward to Spirit/Goddess while seeking guidance and courage for some
bold moves I am taking these days. I will discuss this more in time.
I am going to paste two poems after this. One I wrote a number of years ago,
and the other I discovered online a month or two ago. I believe that they
will be blessings to many, just as they are to myself.
What's Your part?
Life can be compared to an acting career.
First you choose a part to meet your needs,
Then you bend your part to meet your desires,
In time your desires bend you, and change your part,
Finally, Life's Director slaps you in the face,
and tells you how great your part could be,
From there your career can take one of three turns,
You can ignore Life's message and live in darkness,
You can hear the message, agree with it, but not follow
its plot, and live in the shame of darkness,
Or you can hear the message, receive your forgiveness,
and ride into your next scene on a white horse,
being led by the light and the glory of GOD!
