Because, the conflicts that arise while initially trying to live in two
worlds can be
tumultuous.
When K awakens, or the Spirit descends, or whatever metaphors you wish to
use,
things change. Some things change quickly, others over time. Our ability to
willingly
participate in games and routines and actions that are not enriching to
Spirit diminishes.
We sometimes tend to run from Spirit and try to dumb down so that we can
still play
some of our old games. These games may be in the way we feel we need to earn
a
living, or what we need to do to please a mate. There is conflict in this.
If you run,
Spirit WILL catch up with you one way or another!
We sometimes fully embrace spirit and question the BS and games around us and
create major waves in our common interactions with the world and with those
who
still enjoy and embrace the darkness which they do not perceive. If you
embrace
spirit, family and interpersonal and employment conflicts can easily arise.
Giving yourself fully to Spirit is the giving up on many aspects of life as
you once
knew it. What comes after breaking through to this arena though is
indescribable.
It takes time, patience, and an open mind and an eager and true heart to move
forward from the first step of accepting life with Spirit to overcoming and
embracing
the new way, to operating confidently with the gifts given to you to by
Spirit to share
with Creation. The goal is to eventually live authentically and divinely and
powerfully
as Spirit has molded each of us. This can lead to new professions or hobbies
or just a
further application of what your life experiences have prepared you for. It
can take
time to learn how to balance it all out. It sometimes involves grasping hold
of a vision,
a dream, or a romantic destiny created just for you. You must communicate
with
Spirit/Goddess to find your path. Some do this with the help of a Visionary
or Shaman
using potent plants to induce a visionary state. Others know intuitively
right from the
start what they are here to do with the rest of their lives.

A moment of ecstatic awareness does not a journey complete! Its the journey,
not the destination that is the focus! There are ups and down in ones
journey. Many experience the dark night of the soul experiences, prior to
breakthroughs in their growth. I experience alice in wonderland times, as
well as solemn periods. These are natural periods in our growth. If this
growth is
positive and enriching then new plateaus should be attained over time and the
ability to
maintain them for longer periods of time should develop. When one gains an
understanding of the process it is easier to live with those dark nights of
the soul.

Perhaps these words would work better. Awakened and then further enriched.
After lurking for quite a while I am glad to place my first post here. I
hope to be a teacher to many and a student of all.
