Subject: [K-list] More on Linda's Kriya
From: Lbra782595
On 2002/06/27 15:45, Lbra782595 posted thus to the K-list: Hi Linda,
I will try to describe what I'm talking about a little more simply. I can't
speak for anyone else's K but this is how mine acts. It's like a lion in a
cage, if you poke it with a stick it will get up and move around a bit and
maybe roar at you. Then eventually it gets tired and goes an lies down
again. The stick I use to poke at it is Kriya yoga. It is a method of
taking Prana or Chi in at the top on the head and consciously flowing down
to the base of the spine. This stimulates K and it rises. After a while it
goes back down all on it's own, but not without leaving some new insight,
knowlege or feeling that I must integrate into my philosopy of life.
There are a lot of people with different defintions of the way K works. This
is because it has different effects on different people. If your K stays up
all the time, thats great, you're one of the lucky ones, that is the goal I
am shooting for. Unfortunately I'm not there yet. When K clears out some
more blockages or I use other methods of clearing like chi kung, perhaps it
will stay up longer. Right now I'm not mentally capable of sustaining the
energy output it takes to keep K active for long periods of time
Hope this helps,
Jason B
