Agreed! Joseph Campbell says that its important not to confuse the myth with
reality. Realize that you need to read spiritual texts for their connotative
meaning not the denotative meaning. Makes a bunch of sense to me. Not unlike
your analogy Jason.

I think that sounds like a great idea. Let us know how it goes. Although it
might be difficult to meditate while doing Holotropic Breathwork. It uses
breathing that can be somewhat akin to hyperventilation. Things can get a
little crazy during the process depending on how hard you breathe.

I can only imagine. I've never meditated under the influence. I sometimes
feel the K run very strongly after smoking pot but I don't do it while
meditating.

Interesting. That's pretty much what Aldous Huxley said about psychoative
drugs. You eventually move beyond the need for them. I don't really smoke
for spiritual development. More for entertainment.

That's what i figured. I think of it as my own self administered form of
chiropractic. Why spend money on adjustments when i can do it myself? LOL!

Well...I'd have to say that mine sounds like the hi-pitched metallic sound.
But i hear it pretty much all the time.
