Thanks for your thoughtful words. You´re very right. The answers DO lie within. After writing my post, I knew within myself that I had answered many of my own questions. But I used the opportunity as a rhetorical exercise to solidify some of these ideas. This whole business of “am I K- awakened” is subjective. Can anyone know with absolute certainty whether they are or aren´t? I´d guess not. I´d like to think I´m awakened, but I guess I´m really looking for validation and approval, which shows a lack of confidence in my true Self. It´s just a nametag I´m looking to try on for size. Thinking back on it, that was a big reason I was attracted to Fundamentalist X-ianity. I was looking for a group to belong to and to fit into. I need to rest more secure in my path without looking for outside assurances.

Thanks again for your reply. It means a lot to me. Your Mother´s Day post last year re: your last conversation with your Mom helped me tremendously. I was going thru a tough time and your words were EXACTLY what I needed to hear at the time. You helped facilitate a truly and profoundly emotional shift in my life.
