Subject: [K-list] A Funny Thing Happened On the Way To...

Greetings All,

Humor; interesting...we use the word "funny" to describe comedy and peculiar
circimstances. Are peculiar circumstances in some way comic?

OK, enough rhetoric; on with the tale.

This was a very vivid vision I had yesterday while meditating. I was laying
on my bed, very relaxed when a door opened in the dark swirling colors behind
my eyelids. A tall, slightly heavy-set and bald African man came in and
called me by my middle name ( which I used to go by, but not for a few years
now). He was dressed in light blue medical scrubs and had a thick accent. I
am not familiar enough with African dialects to know which country. All the
colors I was seeing faded to black and I felt my torso "open up". There was
no pain but it felt like someone was rumaging around inside my vital organs
looking at stuff. The sensation moved on to both legs for a minute or two,
then to both arms and finally to my forehead. For just a moment it seemed I
was out of my body looking down on myself. I could see inside the open
incisions and there was an energy being visible inside the shell of my body.
Just a glimpse of this and it was gone. Then everything closed up painlessly.

The only difference I have noted since the experience is that the energy I
run during my meditations seems to flow a little easier and into places where
I was having trouble getting it to go before.

I have never known an African doctor or anyone who fits his description.
I'm sure it will make sense after a while.
