On 2002/06/16 06:56, lillianferracone posted thus to the K-list: Hi Sandeep, I am impressed with your research. I would equate Nirvana with
the ability to transcend one's environment ( psychological health as defined
by the neuroscientists and the humanistic psycholgists such as Abraham
Maslow. Before my major experience (1979) I had come to my wits end and I
was intensely reading the Bhagavad Gita because I knew that I could not
find any answers that I was seeking in any other books. I was also doing a
lot of meditation at that time. I can relate to what you are saying. For all
intents and purposes I am now an entrepeneur. The' expression' of the
philosophy of Humaneism Institute( this may be used as an adjunct to anyones
philosophy or religion and it does not have a specific leader) is original
but the 'essence' is ancient. You mentioned the 'dream state'. I overlooked
that subject in our presentation series and that is very important. Do you
have any contacts in New York City or New Jersey? I appreciate my dialogue
with you. Lillian
