What a wonderful wager!
IMO the duality of good and evil is merely a device used to maintain a
temporary point of reference on the path of life. When we are able to move
beyond this duality though the act of forgiveness, we truly begin to grow and
become aware of who we really are.
"And this also, though the word lie heavy upon your hearts: .....You
cannot separate the just from the unjust and the good from the wicked; For
they stand together before the face of the sun......And if any of you would
punish in the name of righteousness and lay the ax unto the evil tree, let
him also see to it's roots; and verily he will find the roots of the good and
the bad, the fruitful and the fruitless all entwined together in silent heart
of the earth."

Prophet
For what it's worth, the definition of justice in the Old Testament of the
Bible was "An Eye for an Eye and a Tooth for a Tooth". But in the New
Testement, Master Jesus redefines justice with idea of "Turning the Other
Cheek" and loving your enemy.
I'll BET that you have already won your wager because you are already aware
of all the sycronicities that are happening in your life :^).
Peace,
