Subject: [K-list] Paranoia

  This week the UK government has anounced legislation that it is
trying to get pushed through parliment that will give a list of about
50 departments, from the police to the food standards agency to the
local council the power to check, without need of getting a court
order(the present restriction) any e-mails, phone calls, location via
phone calls that they wish. This is really frightening.
  I am new to K and related matters and am still unsure, what else
would one expect, as to it's purport and nature. For example, it
would seem that there is an increase in the number of people
experiencing the transcendental and that we can, as far as I can
tell, not know the reason why. Is it a greater connection between
people, or is it the end of the world, or is it the 4th age of Kali,
or is it the inevatable ego loss caused by an economy nature/man
(postmodernisim), or who knows what?
 What concerns me is that there may be people in power who are aware
of this potential as a subversive and active force that must be
controlled for as long as they can mjanage it. The people in power
can't be , and I don't accept that they are, so stupid as to dismiss
the common experiences that can be found in our age. Why would'nt
they check us out, what we're doing, who are friends are? Especially
with the terrorist mentality that is spreading throughout the globe,
and the anti capitalist etc.
 Also, why could not someone who becomes awakened then turn their
back on it( I'd say that I still could) and give their information to
those who'd pay or ask.
  I do not want my experiences recorded and catalogued by any body of
power who would or would not understand them and make judgments as to
the movements that it would like me to make, the jobs that I could
do, the power I could have.

   I live in the most spyed on county in the world and I know that
they already have my DNA, fingerprints, associates on record etc. I'd
like to keep a little bit to myself, especially when I know that they
don't yet understand.

 In summary, I'm going to sign of this list (unless someone can
persuade me that it's safe), which makes me more angry because there
is absolutly no need. There just driving everyone underground.
