Hi

I'm going away on a retreat next week and want to suspend my emails
from the list until I get back..... how is this possible? Do I have to
unsubscribe and then subscribe again when I get back?

A couple of years ago I read a poem called "The Invitation" by Oriah
Mountain Dreamer. I always thought it was a beautiful piece of writing
but didnt realise that she had written a book to accompany it.

I'm only a couple of chapters into it and finding it to be a gift. It has served
to reinforce the signs that have been appearing at the side of my path lately.

For the last couple of years (and particularly the last 6 months), I have
been on a journey up through the chakras.

I discovered much peace and bliss on this journey and I even learnt to
appreciate the rough times as part of the process. At times I have felt like I
have finally come home and to describe that feeling would be futile. Words
cannot fully harness the experience.... at least I cannot find words that do.

However in recent weeks I've become aware that there is a part of me that remains
unfulfilled. A gentle tug from somewhere deep inside urging me to journey on.

But why? And more importantly where? Where else could there be to go
but God's lap?

Then with some encouragement from this list, my friends, some books and timely
coincidences I have discovered that the journey is not complete when reaching
the crown. The return leg is back down through the chakras where the spiritual
can merge with the physical and joy, pain, passion and love can be experienced
on earth as a human being.

In her book, Oriah Mountain Dreamer says -
"I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your
heart's longing."
I'm going to Wales for 6 days to discover what my heart longs for. To bring
the spiritual and the physical into harmony. To continue on this beautiful awe
inspiring journey. To become intimate with myself, others and nature.
