My apologies to you all: as you probably noticed, I accidentally did
the Worst possible thing: in a failed attempt to reply to a message
(did someone jog my elbow? was there at a knock at the door? did the
cat press the wrong key? - hmmmm , i haven't got a cat), i
accidentally posted an ENTIRE DIGEST back to the list. I am numb with
embarassment about this offence (I would have recommended the Chair
for anyone else who'd done it ...). I now lie abject at your feet.
