For every teacher, there is a student. One cannot be a teacher
without there being someone to teach. One cannot be a student unless
one finds a teacher ..

Yet, each of us is both student and teacher -
both exist within us - at the same time.

We tend to forget about the "Inner Teacher" - or have been conditioned
into giving it some mystical power or "Deity" status.

We only ever ask questions because the mind cannot except that
we already know the answer .. lets face it, if the answer did not
already exist, how would we know to ask the question - or how
to ask the question - in the first place.

So, we look outside ourselves for a "teacher" because we were
taught as a child that we had to behave in a certain way in order
to be accepted in our family, or tribe or society.

After a while, that didn't sit to well, so we started to look for
someone who could "marry" what we had been taught with what we
already knew .. and the instant experts lined up to take our money
from us because we forever saw ourselves as "unworthy" -- that's
what we had been taught ..

But then ..

The Sanskrit wort "GURU" came along .. made up of two words -
"gu" and "ru" which literally transilterate into
"The dispeller of Darkness" ..

and when you spell "G-U-R-U" out aloud to yourself,
you will say "Gee, You Are You"

and when you can accept that,
you will have found the greatest teacher alive ..

    your own inner knowing -

    which, at the moment, lies as the point of light
    of enlightenment at the end of the dark tunnel of
    the mind's enforced ignorance ..

all you really need to find are the words to express to yourself
what you already know - and only you can do that for yourself ..
