hoooo boy, i have had recurrent spider dreams my whole life, they regularly
populate my dreams and my house (eikes), whole wharehouse amusement parks
full of 'em, one of each kind of web, woodshed bedrooms with mega-black gel
taratulas, bizarre non-existant species that are mixed with other animals,
the list is endlessly variant...

i thought my grandma was killed by a spider, since she got bit by a black
widow and had this huge ulcer in her leg...she died within a year of a rare
blood disease at a young age

i am marked by a spider, a little red spot right under my left eye where it
bit me, where some sort of venomous creature bit me when i was a child, my
eye swelled shut for a couple of days

anyway, i used to be petrified by them, thought they were evil and ugly and
highly threatening (even the ones that could not hurt me), they all were
plotting to kill me, and only recently have i started to admire them (from
a scared, respectful distance), allow a few to live in my house without
disturbing their web, see them as little amazing goddesses, and even find
them kindof sexy and elegant in the way they move...

still wouldn't want to get caught in a giant web in the jungle ;).
