Dear List,

After being on the List for a number of weeks and reading everyone's questions and answers, I feel pretty "safe" describing my experience during meditation and asking for your responses. Pretty sure <someone> on the List knows what's going on...;-)

To start with, I'm pretty sure I've not experienced the total experience of Kundalini; however, it seems as if I've experienced most of what you all describe in a paranormal or even mystical sense. Here's the question: I meditate to a japa sound and don't do anything differently with my breathing except I try to breathe "up" from the root chakra and exhale to form a circle? Do you know what I mean? I don't sit in a lotus position because I have back and joint problems, so I prop myself up with pillows and just get comfortable.

I should say that I "see" chakra colors on a regular basis, just closing my eyes and viewing through my third eye. However during meditation, I "see" something that looks like an eye. It begins to pulsate on it own. It opens and closes, opens and closes, opens and closes...this is how it appears. The intense royal blue takes over my third eye vision and the feeling is incredibly peaceful. Until I noticed it, I didn't have trouble with my breath, but it seems to me that if I could control my breath, I may be able to control the pulsing? (I have REAL breath problems with OBE initiation!) Do I want to control the pulsing?

I'm pretty sure I'm viewing chakras, as sometime I see a brilliant magenta, or off to the side I see a red, or a gold takes over the picture. Today I felt a small "blip" on my spine and after reading what other people have written here, I kind of understand what that may be.

Can anyone tell me what is happening? Is there a way of knowing individually what this experience is about? Thanks!
