Kenneth, It certainly does sound like a form of surrender I had never considered it that way. A couple of years ago, after diligent kundalini meditation, as I lay down to sleep, I had the similar shadow experience, very heavy shadow and blocky as you said, and moving. I then attributed it to some heavy burden my "boyfriend" at that time was carrying. Or some darkness. In retrospect, I see it differently. I would like to know more about "swallowing the shadow".
