I understand your perspective with this issue, and presents a
problem, however, the 'problem' is that i tend to get nasty and have
a
'harsh' vibe when i feel that the complement issue arises. In the
past my tendency has been to be to just reject it out right, then
fall
into a negative view of myself, and sort of reverse the 'ego' effects
that would have 'enlarged' the ego.
I was wondering if this is uncommon and is there any way to view the
situation with a bit more ease, without getting caught up in the 'ego
games' be they negative or positve?
take care,
erik
