On 2002/05/21 21:09, Laura posted thus to the K-list: Hi Joe,
When I read your first post regarding Osho, and your remarks about morality, good and evil, it recalled to me discussions I have had with a friend about this same issue. At the time, I hadn't made up my mind about the issue. I noted that you were rather rude and judgemental but I ignored it to pursue my own questions. My questions were serious and were coming from my own struggles with these ideas. However, I have also thought about the things that Jason was saying about transcending good and evil. And Susan's post really helped me to clarify my own position as far as my actions in the world. So, I decided that I didn't agree with you, after all. My use of your statement in the I way did does not seem out of context to me. As a matter of fact, I thought it was a perfect illustration of the inconsistency between your words and your actions. I don't know what motivates you, Joe. What motivates me is my own path. Everything I do or say is in the service of that path. It's important to me to be consistent in word and action. I guess that's why I felt compelled to point out your inconsistency. However, I recognize that you are free to be as rude and inconsistent as you like. Please accept my apologies for trying to change you.
Laura E.
