Subject: [K-list] Ego and Terrorism

On 2002/05/21 16:09, hlbwoman posted thus to the K-list:

First on ego. I ended a relationship a couple of weeks ago with a
man that might have been Mr. Right, had we wanted the same things in
a relationship. But we didn't, so I decided to open a space for the
man I deserve by letting him go. He showed up at a party I went to
Saturday, and my ego took over. I consciously decided to let my ego
have it's way, and I said some things from anger and resentment that
I later regretted. He didn't deserve that from me.

I have decided that letting the ego have its way is like drinking too
much. It feels good at the time, but the hangover is much worse and
lasts longer. So, I'm currently processing what happened and working
on forgiving myself.

Next, Marianne Williamson's inspiration for today discusses the
current terrorism threats and what we can do with our collective
conscious to bring light not only to the people who hate us, but also
to us. (To help us with our feelings about them). I don't have a
link to it, but will be glad to forward this to anyone who sends a
request.
