What about nonduality? Oneness? One way to look at "fear" is to ask yourself how to view it differently, or to see with Christ's vision.
Sometimes, if you just take some time, sit quietly, experience the emotions or circumstances you most don't want to think about.....experiences which you thought were not good, or hurt you, or things you did you wished you wouldn't have, stuff you stored in the deepest, darkest place.....indulge in the emotion, cry, experience the experience; then release it. As long as you carry it with you, it will hold you hostage and you will be its prisoner, cause you pain - like neck and back pain....when you let these feelings go, you will have a space where healing and love can come in and you can remember who you are. Breathe in, "God Is", Breathe out, "I AM".
Just some things that helped me and I am knowing the more I know the more I know how much there is I don't know. Whatever works.

  past this preposterous world of duality.......
