How do you feel about male genital mutilation that happens every day in the US?

I guess I notice that often in this country we point our fingers at the things that other people in other countries are doing to their people.( I'm assuming that you are in the US.) We often don't see that we, here, are doing the same or similar. I find it interesting.
Moral? Don't know. I do know that if I had a boy child I wouldn't put him through that. I worked in a clinic for a few years some years ago. The doctors asked me to hold a baby as they performed this procedure. After it was over I told them that I would never do that again. The feeling of that tiny body squirming in agony under my hands was more than I could handle. I went into the bathroom and cried. Took 3 or 4 of us to hold him down as they cut away his foreskin.
