Hello Grant,

My own personal experience with states of samadhi and enlightenment
is that when you are in those states...desires evaporate. So working
on being desireless to reach those states is focusing energy on
desires, which makes them grow...:) even more intense.

So there you are then, in those states, desireless. Then after... you
can make a choice to have desires or not. I choose to make choices
that serve me. Sometimes it serves me to have desires (and how
wonderfully delicious that can feel) and sometimes it serves me to
not have desires.

It is wonderful to live in our human body.
