hi Keith,

i often hear what may be the high-pitched ringing that you and a number of
folks described, although the version i get usually sounds soft and
beautiful... sometimes if i get it while meditating or just sitting quietly,
i will try to use the sound as an inner silent mantra, and just follow it...

perhaps you can sometimes simply treat the sounds as gifts, without even
knowing exactly what they are... relax/focus on the sounds, and see where
they lead...
