You do matter. Perhaps you didn't matter to you parents or friends or
whoever....but the very fact that you are asking this question proves that
you do matter.......TO YOURSELF!

You are obviously concerned with your own evolution. You will not find
solutions to the problems you find in other people, only in yourself. You
will get only encouragement or discouragement from other people. As long as
you look to others for your own meaning or value you will be limited by
their views of what they think you should be. You have now taken the first
few steps on the path of true independence. Don't stop now!
