Hello,

I was in Nepal for two months.

I shot 15000 portrait thanks to the engine of my Olympus E-100RS.

I kept 1500 only because my laptop drive was too small.

I had the idea to buy a high quality printer (Canon S800) in Katmandu. Thanks to it, I could give away 580 8 x 12 inches color photos, one to each of the photographed people. With photoshop, the final result were good.

Thanks to this, I was invited everywhere, since my photos were free. For example one shopkeeeper lady told me 'Why didn't my gran mother get her photo ?', and I went immediately to the flat and up to the terrace roof to take photos of the whole family, neighbors and even the dog...

It was my contribution to this country were I paid $10 a day for a suite with two rooms, a kitchen and big bath room, in a white marble hotel in Bodnat, and $1 for a nepalee tray full meal.

Bodnat, near Katmandu, is a holy place with a big stupa (energetic round monument). You are supposed to get charged with energy when you walk around it. So people do it all the day long.

It was the first time in my life when I could feel my heart fibrillating and the energy dancing from the heart to the brain.
