I saw a website once that had photos of inaccurate japanese kanji tattoos - they were all characters that didn't *quite* mean what people thought they did. The only example I can remember is a man who had the character for 'dangerous' tattooed on his back i think, only it wasn't what he thought it was. The subtle meaning of that particular character was 'bad credit risk' - dangerous to lend money to.
