Hmmmm,

Snakes are considered to be the symbol of wisdom in many cultures and
religions. Yellow is the color of the third chakra, personal power. In some
traditions yellow is the color related to intelligence. Hands can be symbolic
or work or help or healing. The right side is the masculine transmitive side.
If I were going to interpret this dream, I would say you either have been
given or you greatly desire the power to be a healer. Or perhaps you are
being directed to seek training in that area.

On the other hand (no pun intended) Freud said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a
cigar".
Implying that everything is not always symbolic of something else. Are you
afraid of snakes? Were the walls of your room yellow when you were a child?
Have you recently injured that hand?

Then of course, both models may be true.............Ain't life grand?
