I'm new to this list and haven't yet formally introduced myself, -- and apologize for that -- however, perhaps the following two books could both answer your questions (in many ways) and also provide you with new and surprising information.

Your first two questions are spiritually and even scientifically answered in Deepak Chopra's newest book, "How to Find God." If one hasn't experienced astral travel or other types of OBE's they might miss some of the many comments and references Deepak makes to this subject regarding the body and mind. In fact, in an earlier book, Deepak discusses a liver transplant patient who, after the successful operation, experienced strange cravings for McDonald's food and beer. The person who donated the liver had died in a car crash; a young man on his way home from McDonald's who enjoyed beer.

The book that gives first-hand answers to your second two questions is "Journeys Out of the Body" by Robert A. Monroe. This is the "grandfather" of astral travel books and in many of the descriptions of his astral journeys he addresses communication and speech. I believe William Buhlmann covers speech and communication as well in his first book.

This is a question maybe someone can clarify or has some opinions
about. Where do you draw the line between your brain and your soul,
for example can you sould do mathematical reasoning or is that ur
brain? Are emotions caused by astral stuff or by chemicals? If
memories are stored in your brain, how is it possible for people have
memories of a past life? Can a soul or stral body be capable of
something like speech and communication, even though a part of the
brain is responsible for this?
