Kimberly, I wonder about my daughter. She is only 7 but I think she is a
very "old" soul. For example, this morning she was telling me while I made
her breakfast that she wonders a lot about how God made the world, and
people. The other night she was talking about something she had not done
yet, and used the phrase "in my short life. (I've only been alive seven
years!)" She sounded like an old woman, reminiscing.

We have heard from her teacher that she is an unusually fair and wise child,
and we hear from other parents what a joy she is to have for playdates with
their kids, because she's so kind and plays well even with their littler
children.

Something that really got my attention a week or so ago was that she told me
her body was "bugging" her, but couldn't tell me in what way. Finally she
said it just felt like it wanted to move.

I have had a few dreams in which she and I are experiencing something
"paranormal" together that I know no one else can see or understand.

And then we have those whiney times and talk-back times and won't clean her ro
om or pick up her toys and clothes times! And she wants high heels and
pierced ears.

I am so blessed to be her mother. So grateful.
