To Richard Walker (I don't seem to get the chat thing to work right,
so I'll respond to you with a general posting. I have used very
limited breathwork to help a person learn to open to their energy and
learn to manage it. Ultimately, though, it's a matter of surrendering
to the energy, which means trusting got be out of control (which is
easier said than done when it gets intense). I see a lot of benefit
with chi kung exercises, and I often advise people to read the
stories of people (often the Hindu saints are good examples) who have
freely surrendered to K, so they have something to relate to instead
of feeling like they're heading into unknown territory. Best wishes,
