Once I tried to equate my own personal experience - just as the
authors of this piece have - into the framework of Spiritual
Psychology.
It didn't work for me - it plunged me back into the world of
duality and self-justification.
I now understand the metaphors on a deeper level - its been 14 or
so years since my "experiences" and during this time my mind has
battled with the conflicts between the "Spiritual Psychology" and
the experiences of the body as the consciousness of each cell
releases all of the belief imprints from the millenia.
There is no defense - there is no duality - there is no humility.
There just is.
There is no "god" to which I am a sacrifice - and there is no
"spirit of god" by which I am embraced ..
There is all knowing - and little by little, the linear mind gets used
to picking up all of the crap that is flying around. A sense of self
preservation is replaced by allowing of this stuff to flow through
as part of the continuum
so that all is seen in an all embracing instant
and nothing is the focus of the looking ..
Spiritual Terms are a limitation. In the Holographic Consciousness
(or the Qantum Mind) they are not just words - they are emotionally
charged poisonous darts which have behind them the impetus of
conformity - fueled in the deep unconscious of the western psyche by
the memory that anything outside of the teachings of "The Church"
is blasphemous or heretical.
Yet - to move behind the "Teachings" - to look at the root meanings
of the words - is to find that to have any other "god" apart from
one's own life's essence is, in reality, that which is heretical
and blasphemous to the Holographic Consciousness of the Breather
in the Act of Breathing the Breath.
This is the essence of the first commandment. The term "spirit"
is a corruption of another Hebrew Word (ruarch) which also means
the same thing.
The translation of the experience into the "Spiritual Language" of
the west is perhaps the greatest blasphemy. In reading the article
and the energy behind the words what I saw was someone grasping at
something to explain their "hellish experience" in a way that the
experience was justified.
I've been this way before too - and it is a very easy ego-trap to
fall into. BUT - in hindsight - what it was for me, was an absolute
lack of respect for me and my experience.
The word "God" which stems from the roots "to sacrifice or to be
a sacrifice to" is the greatest impediment to the self revelation
of one's potential - its something to hide behind to allay all of
the past imprinted fears that rise to the surface as the body memory
releases all of the emotional holding patterns that keep it separate
from its transparency.
One thing I found was that the moment I was able to allow the erasure
of the concept of 'god', all of the variations, meanings and nuances
attached to this word, this was the greatest "liberation" of all -
and gradually what was left of my thinking mind stopped trying to
think and started to flow with all thought ..
I have written before ..
that there is a difference between "I think - therefore I am"
and "I Am - thereby thought is part of the awareness of my being"
This sentience is part of the mirror of "The Beautiful Mind"
God is merely a symptom of those who did not understand why or
how the elements of thunder and lightning wrought such change
in their primitive world.
If the author had completed the memory, she would have found the
impression of the creation of the first protoplasmic cell from
which human life evolved - formed in the atmosphere from a lightning
flash in the indigo-void which is the sensory appearance of the
no-thing .. a black hole which exists between the deepest blue and
the deepest black.
She would also have found that this cell contained the memory of the
sound created by the movement of the hemispheres of the atmosphere -
and the sound of the rotation of the earth's core ..
But - the memory of the gods of thunder and lightning (and all of
their evolutionary forms)- and the imprinting of Religion and
Spirituality - aided by the fear of madness stops the completeness
of the revelation and creates a need to hide behind acceptible words.
The ego can be better served.
