Subject: [K-list] A Beautiful Mind

There is a lot more to the movie than at first seems on the
surface. I have not seen it in full, but I have watched interviews
with both Russell Crowe and the person he portrayed - Nobel
Laureate Nash.

When asked if he thought someone else could have played him better,
all Nash could say of Crowe was that "he was a little bit short".

But - Nash, also, in hindsight of the experiences of his earlier
years - which were labelled as "schizophrenia" - could say that the
voices he heard were the voices of his subconscious - and that, as
he moved through this stage, he likened it to the state which most
seek as "Enlightenment".

If you get the chance to watch the movie - or in fact any other of
Crowe's appearances - have a very close look at Crowe, his
mannerisms - and particularly his eyes. If you can, read his
energy.

There was a lot that Nash did not say in the interview - and I feel
the reason behind this was to protect Crowe from some of the things
he had to go through - because he recognised, in him, a mirror of
himself.

The Inner Journey - that pathway to Enlightenment CAN seem like
schizophrenia - especially when one is on the inside looking out.

Fortunately, in my own journey, I did not make what I heard wrong.
I accepted what I "knew" as best as I could - even though sometimes
the things that came up and out were sometimes a little hard to
take.

The paranoia that is experienced by schizophrenics is because this
state of "Inner Knowing" is made very wrong - by religion and
society.

My experience shows that there are many more people who are
carrying this inner knowing hidden deeply inside of them - afraid
of revealing it to others because they may be labelled "Mentally
Ill"

It is the fear of their knowing, and the pressures generated by the
need to hide their identity - even from themselves which eventually
created the "illness".

Many of those who seek "Enlightenment" as the solution for their
experiences are, in reality, merely seeking an understanding for
their condition.

Unfortunately, just as the Western Medical and Psychological
Profession seeks to "Treat" those who are exhibiting symptoms of
"Enlightenment" with some sort of "Shock Treatment", there are
those Western Spiritual healers, therapists, masters and gurus who,
through their own lack of awareness and cognisance, miss-diagnose a
"Spiritual Emergence"

It is only when one has come out the other side of the
"Transpersonal Bands" or the Siddhis that one can understand (and
see) what is going on for another.

And - you can't get this through reading books ..

It is only when one has gone through the experience and come out
the other side that one can understand where one has been.

The rising of the Kundalini - the pursuit of Tantra - the seeking
of the rising of the Inner Spirit is not the path for everyone -
and there is no seeking or training or practice that can give one
the "Enlightenment Experience".

This pathway can be fraught with great trauma for those who are
unprepared for the revelations that will come from the body as it
releases the hidden memories and knowings.

One of the greatest of these traumas is the fear of "Going Mad"
and it is the fear of this label which, for the most part, stops
people from accepting that their "Enlightenment Experience" is
merely a glimpse of what is possible as their own personal
experience of "A Beautiful Mind".

It is only in the realisation of the "Beautiful Mind" that one can
fully comprehend the truth of "God", "Spirituality" and "Love".
