Dear Bryan,
I have found at times that the use of beads, (108 bead japa, or 99 bead musbaha), is very helpful... moving one bead through your fingers for each count, or chant seems to provide a "positive" distraction from flying thoughts.
Hasn't helped so far.And cann't keep one thought ( alone) in my mind long enough to even start to vsualize an object.
Thanks for the input.
This is an extreme problem as I am used to carrying multiple thoughts and analyzing
more than on problem at a time.

Subject: [K-list] racing mind
Hi
Can anyone suggest some exercises for controlling a racing mind? Even when I am doing a counting / breathing exercise -- I will start counting and as I get into it -- I'll get the count going and before I know it I will be counting and another part of my brain will be off doing analytical analyses.Need to slow it. HELP.
Bryan
