Dear Ara,
Isn't it interesting that those who have visions sometimes see them in quite
disparate lights! :))
Somewhere I read that the skin of those who are enlightened often turns a
slight shade of blue. Perhaps that is why many of the Tibetan gods and
goddesses are depicted in blue, such as Heruka and one of his manifestations,
Shamvara, as well, of course, as many of the Tibetan deities in their
wrathful form. :)) Of course, the healing Buddha, Bhaishajyaguru, is almost
always shown as blue, as is Nagarjuna, with snakes adorning his halo. :)).
Krishna, the Indian god is also frequently shown as having blue skin.
Isn't it possible that you are rejecting very special guides because of
preconceived notions of what they represent, due to their appear-ance?
Love, Hillary
