Subject: [K-list] An Experience During Meditation

I was reading an article on the web this morning and it inspired me to share
this experience I had a couple of months ago.

I was doing my basic kriya meditation and had my consciousness way up at the
top of my head or a little beyond, I was almost completely unaware of my body
at the time. I seemed to hear something like a door latch being turned
(opening or closing I couldn't tell) Then I heard a very powerful voice in
my head say "BEGONE! FOUL UNDEAD THING! It felt like had been struck by
lightning at the top of my head. Energy rushed down into my body and then I
felt it move out into my aura. It seemed my aura was full of tiny stars.
This all occured over about 2 seconds. I was completely aware of my aura
extending about 3 feet around my body. The sensation lasted maybe a minute
and slowly subsided.

I don't know quite what this means. There was no discomfort, in fact it was
close to ecstasy, but not in sexual sense. When it was over I was very
relaxed but alert and a little weak. Being weak is not a sensation I am used
to as I'm a big outdoorsy kind of guy and so I just sat there a while and
pondered. Was this a cleansing of some kind. That's the only sense I can
make of it.
