Aaron,
I appreciated your post on learning to love your wife and not tilling her
soil, so to speak, and also the statement on loving your enemies instead of
justifying your position. I believe that is what we are all supposed to
learn to do. It is not as easy as it sounds. I live with a man that does
not know how to give love on a regular basis, let alone receive it
consistently. I believe this is a great hurt and sorrow in my life and
that I will have to find ways of accepting him for who he is. I have every
intention of staying in the marriage, but it has not been a blissful walk in
the park for me. I know if I am able to overlook the love I do not receive
and shine that love on him, it will take that hurt and replace it with the
JOY we were meant to feel. I am so grateful for "K" for this reason. As I
am carrying unconditional love with me day and night. It is there for the
taking when my mate is not always as available. Thanks for sharing your new
awareness, Aaron. It meant much to me.
