I too live with someone who in not on a spiritual path, nor even has the
inclination to seek one. She is totally immersed in her job and my forays
into the realm of the divine are merely senseless prattle to her. I am
considering leaving this relationship because I find little solice or
understanding about the things that concern me. I do not condemn her or try
to "convert" her to a different way of thinking, but it is beginning to seem
like an energy block. Her attitudes sometimes give me doubts if I'm not just
deluding myself with all this. I don't need anymore obstacles on my path
than I already have. It will take most of this incarnation I think to work
thru the karma I already have generated so I'm going to take your advice and
just sit in gratefulness and love for a while and see if anything moves. If
I could somehow relay to her the joy I feel sometimes in a deep meditation,
perhaps we could find some common ground again.
