I got excema when I was a child, and I went to tons of dermatologists
and specialists who gave me cortesone steriod creams coz that is all they
knew. Gave up on them a long time ago.
I have never heard of taking Nizoral orally. I only know the shampoo,
which Goddess led me to find after I had resolved the emotional aspects of
the condition. (excema=self criticism)
Are you sure we are speaking of the same thing?
Essentially, (as it says on the back of the bottle) everybody has a
naturally occurring fungus on the skin, just part of our biological
ecosystem. In times of stress this fungus can get overgrown, and K. sure
can be stressful!! LOL!!
When it gets overgrown, you get.. like, athletes foot or jock itch in
places not usually associated with that kind of fungus. It is not the same
fungus as athlete's foot, but it is the same as dandruff, or at least a
close enough relative that a good dandruff shampoo kills it dead.
Of course, since it is so omnipresent I can catch it back every time I
shake someone's hand, so I was using nizoral as a body-wash once a week
till my vulnerability to it went away. I asked my lovers to use it as well,
before intimacy.
Also comes to mind... a few times as a hair stylist I caught some kind
of cootie from my clients that gave me a rash that spread all over my body.
I assumed it was excema till my boyfriend caught it and went to the
dermatologist. It was not scabies (head) and it was not crab lice (pubes)
but it was some kind of microscopic cootie and Kwellada shampoo for crab
lice, plus washing all my clothes, sheets etc killed it off. I also had to
throw out all my old rubber gloves.. they were infectious.
If it is a fungus nizoral will kill it, and if it is cooties kwellada
will kill it. By the nature of the contagion, sounds like a cootie. Usual
disclaimer applies: I am not a Doctor tho I do dress up like one sometimes.
Blessings...
